I'm not huge into MMORPGs, but do regularly play Sword of the New World (which is sort of like Guild Wars as if it were done by Tsui Hark - no coherent story line, crazy amounts of action, nice visuals) and sometimes Guild Wars (which I like the missions of, but find the combat slow and boring, like an episode of Quincey).
So I'm interested them in theory, especially now I have broadband (such as it is). But this seems bad to me for two reasons.
The PvP allowed everywhere. That's just bad. It only takes a few bad apples to ruin something, and there are a lot of bad apples online.
The real time/action based combat. I know this is the big thing nowadays, but part of a what makes a roleplaying game (to me), as opposed to an action game is that you don't have to be a great video gamer to play an RPG. Also lag can really be a problem in such things.
