I certianly didn't, and I doubt the others did either. Universal Solvent is basically "dissolves anything" stuff, so the joke is that, well, what do you store it in? :-)

Ah. Gotcha. I was thinking, that, since sovereign glue sticks to anything, how could you store it, since it would obviously stick to the container and you'd be unable to separate it from the bottle. Brain fart, I guess.

The Hagunemnon (from ELH) is another Douglas Adams reference.

WFRP 1e critical hit tables are brilliant:
"Your opponent's head flies off 2d6 feet in a random direction".

My favourite one of these, however, is the 1st edition L5R sourcebook "Way of Shinsei"- which covers monks. It had a sidebar saying "rules for becoming enlightened are on page 113". If you count frontispiece, title page, covers, etc., the book has exactly 112 pages...

There was a similar thing in the old Clanbook: Malkavian for V:tM... Just a random "Page XX: (see Werewolf: the Apocolyse)" page. Of course... I'd almost nominate the old clanbook in this thread.
