Most damage in a single round?

What is the most damage a character can deal in a single attack, during a single combat round?

Assume 20th-level character, built using only core classes, prestige classes, feats and items from official WotC sources. No 3rd-party products.

Others have taken the Hulking Hurler / War Hulk to even larger damage ratings, but generally speaking 49,748 damage (plus 4 fire ) is going to be enough. Even if it does allow a reflex save (DC 52) for 1/2.

This is from an epic arena, and the character in question is ECL 25, but he could be built at a lower level wihtout too much loss of power. Any class with the word "Hulk" in the title should be eyed with extreme suspicion.

The most I calculated was using magic spell-storing shuriken and telekinesis for over a million points of damage.

3.0 I take it? In 3.5 you're limited to 15 items max when you take the violent thrust option.

The falling object formula is broken. Its actually a good question for the sage, whether falling objects will be erratted to a max of 20d6.

I think I recall someone once shapechanging into a 200' cube of adamantine, then working out exactly how many vampire bats they could fit under that cube as it dropped on them (I suppose the sky's the limit, literally...).

In their case I think the damage output they worked out was somewhere around 8 billion, although I imagine you could go higher...
