Maybe 3rd edition D&D because after what 2e did to my D&D tastes, I felt as if I could like D&D again. The same can be said for Mutants and Masterminds after slogging through Supers games I never really liked.
That nasty swipe aside, I would probably agree with the sentiments about Unearthed Arcana.
