D&Dg (more commonly abbreviated as DDG, I think) is Deities & Demigods.

Yeah, well - most people like to have luck in their travels.

Family domain is the way to go for Heavy D clerics like I like to play ( second fave is Fate - hate getting sneak attacked cause I blow my init roll )

Renewal has several spells of use (and in my Ravenloft d20 campaign, teh GM agreed to add "epiphany" (from that setting) as a 1st-level Domain spell for renewal, for my cleric of the Morninglord ... VERY thematically apropriate).

And, the free, auto-cure-light on yourself once per day, if you drop below 0hp (but not below -9hp, naturally), helps keep you on your feet and healing the fighters (etc), even in a really bad situation (like having area spells drop the back-line characters ... oops!).

It's not the most POWERFUL domain ... but at present, it's my -favorite-. Second place owuld be Sun ... for that undead-destroying goodness (I suppose noone will be surprised that my cleric in Ravenloft has -that- domain, too ... ? ).

Good to see travle's out ahead where it should be. A very nice balance of a handy domain power and a good (but not nessesserly overpowered) selection of arcane spells. Runners up include all the elemental domains (can't choose just one), War and Trickery.

I go for luck as well - does anyone know if you can use it for your new level HP roll? ;-)

I like Trickery the most. Becoming invisible is just great. Most of the rest of the spells suck or maybe I'm just not inventive enough.

My personal preference has always been protection, and it seems to be the second general pick in our group.
