Most influential RPG

I'd like to know your opinion about the most influential RPG in RPG history. Those game that were precursors and lead the rpg design through the history.

So far my list would be something like this:

D&D
The Fanstasy Trip (GURPS dady)
Champions
Traveller
CoC
Vampire
Ars Magica
Sorcerer
Burning Wheel
Savage Worlds
Fate
Apocalypse World

What other games would you include? What would you remove from the list? Why?

Isn't D&D always touted as the one that started it all, that created the genre.

This is going to be a thread full of people's favorite games, rather than the influential ones. That is largely due to the fact that most influential media are actually under the radar and have somewhat niche audiences.

Just for example, I think Savage Worlds is a great game, but I would not call it especially influential. there aren't a lot of Savage Worlds likes. And the game that became Savage Worlds -- The great Rail Wars -- did not really spawn a bunch of clones either.

OD&D was clearly influential, of course, but until the OSR age I don't think following editions of D&D were particularly influential beyond inspiring folks to do something different.

Agreed on Savage Worlds, it's out of the list.
Added Ghostbusters and what about OSRIC for the OSR movement?

D&D is the #1 obvious. However, I'd add Runequest, D6 Star Wars (WEG) and Rolemaster/MERP.

What about games from the last decade? Any "new" game really influential?
