Most-liked Threads - Reaction Score?

On the right of the screen there sometimes appears a list of "most-liked threads", ranked in descending order of "reaction score".

Where does this reaction score come from, and-or how is it calculated?

I'm guessing it is the number of reactions that the first post in a thread gets.

I was thinking (and hoping!) it had something to do with rating the thread as a whole.

I checked a few threads and you are right (or close anyways; I found a few off-by-one discrepancies). Any reaction - Like, Haha, &c - counts as a +1.
