This isn't really the place for it, but it's worth noting that combining P&P with General Discussion has generally been a tremendous success. How many people visited P&P before, twelve? Twenty? Those were threads that generally benefitted from having a lot of attention paid towards them. Many of them stagnated with 0, 1 or 2 responses. The only advantages were that it was easy to find things, players never visited, and threads never sank quickly. It would be hard for that to happen, considering the low volume of activity.

Now threads disappear faster, but they're generally getting two or three times the amount of attention while they're around. Heck, for me General Discussion is now like one great big Plots & Places, especially with OT threads removed.

And to answer the question? I think Meta and the Publisher's forum are underutilized, along with the art gallery. There are some fantastic things in there. I'm also surprised by how little traffic the OT forum is generating.

I think that the Art Gallery forum needs some help. Lots of good stuff in there, but it doesn't have many people to play with.

I think that the reviews section is under utilized as well. People in my group will want to buy a book and complain they haven't heard anything about it. When I send them to the reviews, there's always at least 3 or 4 reviews on a given product. I know I rarely buy anything without checking it out.

The reviews section is pretty good, but I know it could benefit from having more reviews. I think we should have an annual "post a review" day and encourage everyone to put up a review of anything - old or new.

And I have to agree with PC, P&P is much better served by integration into General. I've gotten way more feedback on my plots here than I ever did in P&P. The only drawback is that they scroll off quickly, and thus get lost to time. Whereas before, they lingered about and would get raised occasionally by someone going into the archives (2-3 pages back). Which, while was nice, didn't amount to much since whatever plot I needed help with, was already long past in my campaign.

And we had this discussion in the art gallery, but is there a place where everyone can post generic maps to? There doesn't seem to be a specific spot where maps can go, except in numerous threads. If there were a single resource for that, it would be awesome.

Yeah, I know I'm guilty of that. My plan this year is to do at least 1 review a week. That should take me several years to finish at this rate, but it's good to have goals.

Yeah, if we had like map depot type spot, that would rock. Esp. with sections, types, user ratings and such. I know that I look at maps sometimes just to get ideas for adventures, campaigning, etc.
