Anyone here use it? Quickie reviews? I can't seem to find much online.

As far as I know, it's not out in print yet (although it is available as a .pdf). however, it should be available in print any day now....

It's been out. I love it and use it quite often. But, if you want to keep els equivelant to party level (or close), you'lll have to modify the tables quite a bit. A manticore is as likely to show up as a lowly goblin (in the appropriate terrain.)

DaveMage,

He is asking about the ENCOUNTERS book, not the TREASURE book. The Encounters book has been out for years. Yes, I think it is a useful tool and good to have.

I prefer making my own or better- just putting in whatever I want when I want.

Players getting cocky? Black Dragon with wyrmlings. Can anyone say over protective mom?

I have actually gotten more use out of this since switching to C&C. Since I no longer have to worry about random encounters leveling the PC's too fast for the main story arc.
