Mounting those Greyhawk Maps

Ever since I purchased a home with a dedicated gaming room, one question has nagged at me. How does one effectively mount and display the Dungeon Greyhawk maps? Combined they are five feet accross and almost 4 feet tall. I have not been able to find a picture frame that size as of yet.

What have other people done to display the awesome Greyhawk maps?

Staple them to the wall.

My suggestion is to go to an art supply shop and see if they do custom framing. It may cost you a bit, but it'll get the job done. I'm not quite sure about the prices through, I never had any art framed that was that big. ;)

I would recommend getting a large peice of foamcore (two peices of cardboard glued to a hard foam backing) or coreplast (basically corrigated plastic) call around some sign shops to check prices, my girlfriend works at a sign shop and they sell sheets of coreplast that size for about 15-20 $ CDN. Foamcore would likely work better but be a bit more expencive. Then get some good glue and just glue the maps to the backing. Voila, instant display.

I laminated my copies, as custom-framing would cost $150 US, at least, and would only go up based on the materials you selected for the frame.

Depends how much you want to spend. I always thought they'd look nice mounted in a frame, but you'd probably have to get it constructed to fit the map and that won't be cheap. Then it just depends on what quality frame you want - and that is very much dependant on whatever you want (or have) to spend.
