There's also a series, separate from the Netflix animation, that's part of the announcement.

Hasbro is still shopping the Rawson Marshall Thurber D&D series after Paramount pulled the plug during pre production.
There has been no word about the Derek Kolstad Drizzt series which is in the pitch phase for some time.
Giant Freaking Robot once said that Netflix optioned BG3 for a series, but there's been nothing in months.

And, well, the documentary with Joe Manganiello is so long delayed that it may end up like his fanboi DragonLance script at this point.
