multi class skill question.

i'm a first level rogue. lots of rogue skills and all that. i just leveled up and i want to take a level of wizard. if i want to select rogue skills for this level, would they be at full value because i already have a level of rogue, or would they be cross-class skills because i'm getting them while leveling up as a wizard?

You would pay as if they were cross class, but the skill cap for them is calculated as if they were still class skills iirc.

I wouldn't recommend putting skill points into rogue skills when you take wizard levels.

There are two factors.

1) How many skill points do I have to pay for a rank in that skill this level?

2) What is the maximum ranks I can invest in this skill.

For 1, you look at the skill list of the class you are taking. If its not a class skill for that class, you pay 2 points per rank.

For 2, you look at ALL of your classes. If its a class skill for ANY of them, the maximum ranks you can invest is always full, rather than half.
