multiclass ritual feats

hipnotode

First Post
im wondering if there has been any errata to learned spellcaster or bardic ritualist, mainly because they seam very unbalanced in comparison to each other.
so from what i can see you get:
bardic rituralist
  • arcana skill
  • bardic training class feature [ritual caster feat, 2 free rituals, free ritual use 1/day]
  • ability to use bard's implements [wand, instruments]
learned spellcaster
  • arcana, nature or religion skill
  • wizard's ritual casting class feature [ritual caster feat]
  • ability to use wizard's implements [orbs, staffs, wands & tomes]

okay learned spellcaster gets the choice of two more skills, and two more implements (well three if you dont count instruments), but in my opinion i dont think that makes up for getting two free rituals on the off, and the use of one/day for free (well two at 11, three at 21).
i dont see why someone would take the wizard feat, especially when they can get a one/encounter insta-hit as wizard.
im basically wondering if the rituals bit of the wizard spellbook feature (the bit where they get 3 rituals at 1 and another one at 5, 11 15, 21 & 25) has been moved over to the ritual casting class feature, as that would balance the feats more.

thankyou for any input,
-hip

Because one makes you a wizard and one makes you a bard?

Honestly, it seems to me that the ancillary benefits are the least important thing about these two feats.

You also left out that the bard has access to more rituals than the wizard, as they have their own "bard only".

I could see maybe giving the first level rituals to the wizard, but giving the constant supply of new rituals is a bit much for just a single feat.
