D&D 5E Multiclass saving throws?

Something I just noticed re-reading my PHB. Do multiclass characters gain proficiency bonuses with new saving throws? The rules seem to be silent ...

As far as I know, they don't get new ST proficiencies when multiclassing.
Unless you take the Resilient feat or get a certain number of levels in Monk, Rouge, etc., you're stuck with your first class' STs.

No, you don't get saving throw proficiency bonuses. You only get the proficiency bonuses in the Proficiencies section on page 164 of the PHB, and saving throws are not included.

Saves are listed under Proficiencies. You only get proficiencies from the 2nd class+ listed in the multiclassing proficiencies chart located on page 164 PHB.

Anyway, multiclassing doesn't give out more saves, I think it did in beta?

During the playtest, you got all proficiencies from your new class, which made MC very OP. Fortunately, they listened to the playtesters, and fixed the problem =)
