Multiple Metamagic Feats

Maximize first, then Twin it, problem solved...

Meta magic feats only apply to the base spell, so it doesn't matter how you do it. The base spell is maximised, then the base spell is twinned or vice versa the same thing happens. The target gets hit with a maximized version, and a reguliar version at the same time.

Ahh yes you are correct, my bad. I wonder if you cast a Heightened Twinned charm person, would you have only one of the versions of the spell heightened. I would imagine so, by the wording of how to put meta in your spells....

Are you sure? The twin spell says it is the same in every way as the original spell. It justs duplicates it. If it didn't work that way twin spell would be drastically underpowered. I can just double empower instead. The only reason I would get twin spell is to use it with other metamagics...

Right, and the original spell is neither maximized or twinned.

Twin spell is basically a replacement for Quicken Spell for a sorcerer. It allows you to cast two spells in one round without using haste.

There are spells that empower won't affect that Twin will. (i.e. any spell without a random numeric variable, such a blindness, glitderdust, etc.)

Twinned does not duplicate metamagic feats, it only duplicates the spell.
