Well, the Munchkin card game is fun, if a little repetitive. I'd be amused to see this, though... Is it illustrated by Jon Kovalic of Dork Tower fame ?

Did I read that right?

Seems a bit overdone to me. Thats only 16 pages longer than the Sunless Citadel.

Of course getting them to give me the book and then pay me to read it too seems like an optimized munchkin thing to do.

I read the same thing 48 pages which comes out to about 30 cents a page.

The card game is a lot of fun, especially if you have 5 or so players who love to backstab and play politics. Worth a buy IMO.

Anybody here played the card game, I've only seen the adds for it on SJG's site.

RPGnet has a few reviews. The game suffers from the "dogpile on the leader" syndrome, but is otherwise a fun game of backstabbing. Space Munchkin didn't seem to have as much "player interaction" as Munchkin did, but has catpeople, which seems to be an automatic sell to certain people.

Munchkin d20: It's an expensive book, but at least SJG is getting free advertising on EnWorld for an ever more expensive product.
