Mundane or magical diseases detailed?

Alchemist

First Post
For my next campaign, I'm considering scaling back the magical healing/resurrection and got to thinking about the potential impact of disease, especially in a lower magical world, where cure disease spells aren't just a cleric away.

How often does a party delve into a swamp without risking contracting malaria or some other bug that lies in these fetid places? So my question is this: Are mundane and perhaps magical diseases detailed in any sourcebooks, in a method similar to poisons from the DMG and Traps and Treachery 2? I'm not talking Mummy Rot or Lycanthropy, I mean the strange bugs that lurk in the jungles, just waiting to be transmitted by that trollbite. Thanks for any insight!

There are stats on some nasty diseases listed in Bluffside. They've got real-world stuff like cholera and dissentary, and also some other vile and disgusting ailments. I think I've seen disease stats elsewhere too, let me think about it some more.

Warren of the Ratmen by S&SS is another good source for strange diseases, especially since it's set IN a swamp. :)

I was going to add the same, Nightfall. But there is only a few diseases in WotR; I felt it a shame not to see more.

I've just started a Scarred Lands campaign, and I wanted the first adventure to involve disease. Between those listed in the DMG and those in WotR there was only about a dozen listed.

If I'm not mistake the Creature Catalogue website has some info on diseases, though I don't think it's in standard d20 disease format.
