must-have XBOX / 360 games ?

I can't believe you people failed to mention this:

Shame on all of you. :D

Seriously though, I'd really recommend these titles to anyone. I liked the first DOAX, and while DOAX 2 has yet to come out, I'm guessing it'll be much better than the first one, what with all the extra modes and stuff. So if you're not adverse to digital hotties and a relaxing gaming atmosphere, then these are the titles for you.

As for the titles that were mentioned previously, I suggest you get Ninja Gaiden: Black instead of the regular edition. Also, what's with all the dislike for Jade Empire? That was a fantastic game, and certainly one of the best RPG stories I've had the pleasure of playing through.

Definitely Oblivion.

I enjoyed Dead Rising but the goofy save game functionality made it rather frustrating for me.

I'd also recommend Full Auto; I wouldn't call it a "must have", but it's a good game if you feel like racing through a city and blowing up lots of stuff :) I wouldn't have gotten it when it first came out but I'd say it's worth the $30 price tag it has now.

The original DOA:XBV was my favorite Xbox game. Or at least, the most played. The volleyball in that was very addictive. However, I don't think it works on the 360 yet. (And now that I look, neither does D&D Heroes.)

I would recommend against Ninja Gaiden. There are just much better games with more freedom nowadays. I mean seriously, there's a level of the game where you (a ninja) want to get into a bar, but you can't because the bouncer won't let you unless you run around the enemy-infested town in order to get a key. When you finally get the key and enter the bar, you find a demon has killed everyone. Good thing you didn't use your ninja skills to sneak in so you could save people.

Playing the game we realized that Ryu Hayabusa is a lawful good ninja.

If you like D&D Heroes then I've got to reccomend Hunter:The Reckoning. It is obviously based on the White Wolf RPG of the same name and I had a blast with it. Like Heroes you can play 4 player coop simultaneous.

Don't forget the Splinter Cell series.

If you like comic books at all, I'd recommend Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. It's very much a fun team beat-em-up in the style of the old 4-player X-Men arcade game from back in the early 1990s, which I played to death back then. I think there's something like 20 heroes you can play.
