Awww... Sorry to hear about that... :( It's hard to lose a family pet and friend. Especially when it comes down to a difficult decision like that one...

My condolences on your loss. Doing the right thing can be very painful sometimes. Rest assured that the love you gave will come back many times over and the love received will always be with you.

I'll offer my condolences too.

I can relate to you on this, My cat Cody died of lukiemia just a month back. But I know my familly gave him the best life he could ask for. I just hope his brother Sunny doesn't share that fatal flaw in his genes too. The best I can do is not worry about it, and be happy with him now. With luck Sunny will live a happy full life.

I remember Cody as he was, and celebrate his life rather than mourn his death. I'm sure you have loads of great memories with Maggie, don't forget them.

My condolences also. I had to put down my 17-year-old spaniel 4 years ago and thinking of him still makes me sad. His ashes sit by my bedside. Don't let anyone put you down for feeling grief over a lost pet. They are not less worthy of our love than people.

Sorry for your loss, Jester. I own pets myself, and it is hard when you have to put one down before their time. I hope you find some comfort in it, because you're not alone in knowing the pain of losing a beloved friend like that.
