My BECM D&D Style Character Sheet

BASHMAN

Basic Action Games
The first D&D I ever played was from the Basic Set when it was rereleased in 1990 (the black boxed set with a red dragon on the cover). On the back of the rule book was a character sheet and I wanted to make one that captured that same simplicity. The only major thing I changed was getting rid of the black borders (not printer friendly). This should have room for everything you need on a single landscape sheet! Enjoy!

Well, if you like the classic minimal look, this sheet does that very well and covers all your basic needs. Personally it's not my cup of tea, but then I like sheets that give tons of info and eliminate the need to reference the book as much as possible.

It's kinda good. no showing your work though (which can end up being confusing)
I would recommend probably having like... checkboxes or something which skills are trained.
Oh and maybe lines in the wealth area for risiduum (or however you spell it)
And a little box for a bloodied value would be nice.

There is also no area for FEATS. You get a fair number of those now.

Good to note. I think that I will put a circle in each skill for trained or not, or have it say to put a "T" for trained in the box next to your bonus. I totally flubbed it on the feats. I think I will squeeze the Defenses over a bit and leave a column for them.

I figured a blooded box is unnecessary (its easy enough to write it next to the HP box) but I guess I could do it (and have a Current HP box too)

At the bottom, I can replace the Languages with Surge Value, and some boxes for the healing surges. The Languages will go with Race & Class Features I guess.

As to the previous poster, I am just the opposite- if a character sheet is more than 1 page 1 side, it drives me bananas! Personally I don't even use character sheets for this reason. I always make each character in a word document.
