Thar pretty much covered what I have to say (good old Hivemind, eh?), but I do want to add/reiterate to some degree this point. Bleeding, injured characters coming into the tavern for healing when there's a civilisation with a temple right down the road is a HUGE don't. It comes across as begging for attention in a very, VERY bad way (and Siani dislikes people getting blood on the floor too...you don't wanna cross her  ) But seriously, if you want to start a storyline hook, there are many better ways, and like was said above (can't remember by who, but it was said!), sometimes you will toss your bait into the pond and you won't get bites, but don't give up. Getting a character established on ISRP takes alot of patience, and sometimes a brilliant concept just won't fly. It's sad, but it happens. If your concept and idea isn't getting the feedback you'd hoped for, don't give up. Try it another night, and if you still aren't getting a response, try something different. Some ideas are just going to go over better than others, and that's just how things are. It's not something that ranting at people for not taking interest in your storyline will solve. It's just something that you either a) have to be persistant with until you find an interested crowd or b) have to be willing to adapt with to make it work. And no accusations here, but it has to be stated. ISRP is a community so remember, it's not all about us as an individual and our own personal ideas and wants. It's about us all creating a story together, and any relationship that involves other people (IC or not) is going to mean being willing to give a little and compromise to make it work. :)
