My First DnD session (In a few hours!)

In a few hours your favorite 12 year old dm will be running his first game! I am putting finishing touchs on the adventure and checking the rules over for the 100th time! This is going tbe great! My game is at 2pm est! I'll tell you all about it when I get home!

Congratulations. I think I could still draw the first map of the first dungeon I was ever in from memory, and that was back in the 70's.

I can't wait to hear about it Gwolf! My game starts in about 3 hours I've been playing for 20 years... and I still get excited like I did at my first game.

Ahhh, was about 12 myself when I first DM'd, 32 now and still doing it .. lol... and loving it too

My advice would be to learn the rules, as you have done it sounds.. then forgetr about them and just have fun, don't get bogged down in the mechanics of the game, theres nothing qorse than the game that is flowing well to suddenly take a pause while you check a rule, if its going to take to long, make an educated decision adn go with it, joy it down adn check after the game... its all part of haveing fun an learning to be a great DM..
