My life as a song

What song represents your life in its current state?

For me it would be "Much too young (too feel this damn old)" by Garth Brooks. I'm a not-so-young woman in a young mans game. Sometimes I question my sanity for doing what I do but I'm having so much fun.

Old Enough to Know Better by Wade Hayes.

I'm old enough to know but I don't really care anymore. I'm going to enjoy who I am and improve what *I* think needs improving.

"Company Car" by Switchfoot

My dreams and plans are being sucked up by the corporate machine. :uhoh:

"Hey, I'm the king
Of things
I've always despised
I'm the gingerbread man that's been eaten alive
I'm half-baked
I'm fake
But see I've got hotels on Park Place and Boardwalk and 200 bucks
I pass go, but oh, life's taken it's toll
Have I won Monopoly, to forfeit my soul"

I think Unwell fits me a little better.

Matchbox 20 - Unwell lyrics

All day
Staring at the ceiling
Making friends with shadows on my wall
All night
Hearing voices telling me
That I should get some sleep
Because tomorrow might be good for something
Hold on
I'm feeling like I'm headed for a
Breakdown
I don't know why
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know, right now you can't tell
But stay awhile and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired
I know, right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be
Me
Talking to myself in public
Dodging glances on the train
I know
I know they've all been talking 'bout me
I can hear them whisper
And it makes me think there must be something wrong
With me
Out of all the hours thinking
Somehow
I've lost my mind
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know, right now you can't tell
But stay awhile and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired
I know right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be
I been talking in my sleep
Pretty soon they'll come to get me
Yeah, they're taking me away
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know, right now you can't tell
But stay awhile and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy I'm just a little impaired
I know, right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be
Hey, how I used to be
How I used to be, yeah
Well I'm just a little unwell
How I used to be
How I used to be

In the past-

"Wild Thing" by Sam Kinison

"Every Rose has a Thorn" by Poison

Nowadays..... not sure.

There is a country song that has the lyrics of... "Old enough to know better but young enough not to care."

"Something to Believe In" by Poison

"Losing my Religion" by REM

"We Didn't Start the Fire" comes to mind also.

Some some "written" by Yoko Ono during her time with Lennon.

If you get the joke then you get a cookie.
If you think there is a profound insight to my choice of words/songs then you get a cookie.
Hmmm...... I like cookies.
