and here's his backstory that i got
Zur Sobris was a human from a nomadic Frel tribe in the Wild Fields of the Rogue Marches. He left his tribe and joined a group of Monks who adopted the Scroll of the Wandering Death as their fighting style. Monks of the Rogue Marches follow a Scroll Master who carry with them the ancient secrets of their fighting styles engrained on them with magical tattoos. Zurs master, Zurubashi was deceived by his second in command, Brand. Who convinced Zurubashi to follow an an ancient evil entity in exchange for more power for his scroll. With this knowledge, Zur left his scroll, his master, and his training behind and began a journey to discover his own way. His own Scroll.
For months Zur lost his direction in life and spiraled further down a path of self doubt and whatever drink he could afford himself. He was broke, homeless and downtrodden when he found his companions. They took him in and gave him work, and gave him purpose again. With these companions, and mostly with the guidance from his closest friend Rennyn, he started living up to his own potential.
They traveled and adventured for a while together. They even helped him confront his old nemesis, Brand, but not before Brand unleashed and evil unto The Rouge Marches that they had never seen. A Death Knight, Dathion the Ghoul King. With the initial encounter with Dathion won, the group went their separate ways to learn what they could about him in hopes to extinguish his existence forever.
Zur went on a spiritual journey to discover his own Scroll and earn his place as a Scroll Master. Deep in the mountains he found the temple he had been searching for. He went in and gave himself over to the ancient waters. He was tested and came out of the pools baptized with his own ancient tattoos. The Scroll of the Big Cat was born with him that day.
Zur wandered for a while before meeting back up with his companions, but with the knowledge they sought, the group set out to defeat Datheon for good. As they were embarking to a city to gather information on Dathions whereabouts, they were ambushed by him in the night aboard their giant skyship, the Uir. They fought Dathion and his giant undead eagle in the air. Zur gave his life defending his companions before Dathion threw him over the ship, and to his death.

Well it's been couple of months, here's the next artwork for Dathion!

Dathion the Ghoul King was once the Champion of Cuileth, the Elven goddess of Life and Death. When the Elven homeworld fell to chaos, the pantheon all but destroyed, Dathion preserved what remained of his precious goddess' bones within a blade. Faeiria, it was called, the Light of Death, and he wielded it in hopes of continuing his service to his goddess. The act, however, corrupted him, and in time he fell prey to the machinations of a new god; Orcus.
