It is? I've never heard that.
Then I guess you grew up with a higher class crowd than I did (or it's regional not just to the U.S. but also within the US.).
In any case, it is the same reason I had to giggle to myself like a school boy (despite my advanced age) when I opened up one of the more recent MMs and saw a creature called "Fell Taint" -- yeah, I could never use that name with a straight face. I'd have to rename* it
*I don't want to say "reskin" it or "reflavor" it since reskinning and reflavoring are not words you want to use when discussing a taint
