Well done, Phil. Especially for products that you had shrugged off in another conversation as not having received enough attention from you at the time, because you were treating it as an experiment rather than a business.

So, are we going to see 'another 101 spellbooks' anytime?

Thanks, guys! It's strange to look back on that PDF these days. If I had known then what I do now . . .

Yeah, those were definitely experimental days. Those first three PDFs I wrote were little more than an attempt at the PDF market -- I wanted to see what sales were like. I never would have guessed back then that this PDF could have sold so many copies.

Hell, if someone had told me that the Campaign Planner would move over 1,000 copies I would have called them a liar.

Maybe. Right now I'm trying to concentrate on getting my current PDFs a wider distribution and the creation of original PDFs for a larger publisher but there's no reason I couldn't go back and created another 101 spellbooks. I think I would approach things very differently if I did a second one.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how many unique customers there are at RPG Now? I suspect Phil's reached a significant percentage of them.

Actually, I don't think that I have. I'm fairly confident RPGNow has 10,000+ unique customers.
