It's a marketing blurb for the entire storyline. Drizzt is busy in the events of Archmage and Maestro while you're doing Out of the Abyss and the Expeditions adventures - although you meet Bruenor, Drizzt isn't around.
So, to make this clear: if you are a roleplayer but not a book reader you will never have to adventure in his shadow? (You will never meet him, except for very vague mentions such as that beholder memory in Abyss?)

Since I am a roleplayer but not interested in the books, I found it very misleading to start off a page on various pnp adventures in that way.

Now I know why you did it though. And I am far more relieved than misled!

Interesting.

Dungeon Masters of the Rage of Demons adventures for the Dungeons & Dragons game are going to find this book particularly interesting, as it gives the backstory to the Out of the Abyss adventure. (The Rage of Demons storyline begins with this book, and ends with Salvatore’s next, Maestro).

Perhaps a blog post on the interactions between novels and adventure would be in order?

It's interesting to read that part of Gromp's motivation is the discrimination against males in Lolth-controlled drow societies.

But it seems the second novel and the adventure will have to take place in parallell universes. Do I read into that Amazon blurb that Graazt will take over Menzoberranzan? But in the adventure, that city is likely to be curbstomped completely by LOTS of demon lords.

Should I take the advice to move the end combat elsewhere, and also to take the advice to allow Graazt to slip away from the ritual, to maintain consistency with Drizzt' adventure?
