My recent loot

First Post
I was at the FLGS on friday and noticed a box with 1st ed. adventures in it. The problem was I had 5 minutes to spend there and requested that they do not put them on Ebay until after yesterday (if anyone wants a link to their ebay site, ask).

This cost me 80 bucks, well worth it IMO:

U 1-3
I 1-4
G 1 and 2 (I already had 3)
D 1-2 (but no 3)
Q1

I did quickly go through the Polyhedrons (early ones) on Friday and am very happy I got Gamma Mars and the subsequent issue with mutant insect Martians.

I left some of the other ones- T1, Ravenloft, S1, a bunch of Greyhawk, OA 1 or 2, G3, some UKs, and I don't remember the rest of the adventures. They also have early Dungeons (1 and some others in the single digits) almost all the hardcovers (inc the first printing of Dieties and Demigods) and the Rogues Gallery. Much more than I can afford.

Well done! :D About the only decent thing my FLGS had last time was an original B2 Keep on the Borderlands for 5 bucks. I *almost* bought it, but after flipping through it I failed to recall what it is that makes me have such fond memories of this module. I guess my tastes have changed over the last twenty years of gaming.

I forgot- they also have a copy of UA 1st ed. with EGG's, Kim Mohan's and some elses signatures. I didn't even think of asking for a price.

I have no idea how signatures affect the value of role playing books. I guess it all depends on what the buyer thinks. Let me know if you do ask next time.

Cheers,
