Under the "fiendish defects" section, perhaps you could have a set number of flaws that all vamps have, and then have a part where you list several more defect/flaws but have the player/GM select only 3 or 4 of these (or whatever...).
The reason I say this - I played LARP Vampire for a number of years and have experienced how different each and every vampire can be. If you are running a Blade style campaign, then being able to track a guy with "taint of corruption" (the defect mentioned earlier where small plants and animals within a certain radius of the vampire slowly start to wither and die) might be one way of distinguishing him from the rest. However, a guy with "no reflection" might be harder to get to (unless he/she's standing right in front of a mirror).
