My session last night...

I'm in the Boston area. Tonight, my regular Deadlands game is running - I checked with all my players, and they all want to go to.

So, I'm thinkin' they're definitely going to get to paste some bad guys. I'll give them a hard fight, sure, but some baddies are going to get their comeuppances...

And, here is where I get to pat myself on the back for GM flexibility...

I had, as stated above, figured I'd have players who would love to spend an evening pasting some clearly bad people. None of the angst and moral ambiguity crap - just some flying lead and standing up for what's right, and all. And while that may well have been fine, it quickly became clear that there was an even better route.

It became a game of, "who can keep Umbran's wife laughing too hard to catch her breath." I think the winner was the imitation of a spastic hippogriff.

Thus proving, at least to me, that while vengeance may be nice, laughter is usually better.
