...in rules updating bliss! Yes I can take off my tinfoil hat 'cos WotC will not be sending around the thugs to break my knee caps for having out of date books. I just updated all the books you can see there with all of this years updates. 100% compatible with 4E books (until essentials, obviously.)

The centre piece is my fave page, conditions in PHB... totally covered in stuck on bits of paper and 'go to the back page' notes for things stuck in the cover that wouldn't fit!

Only the screen on the right is not done, no update this time so it is a bit useless. If they don't fix it I will probably copy the essentials one and stick it inside, it looks flimsy!

Now to finish the rest of the Tui and blast the bad guys on Bad Company 2 with my clan

I too have more complex rule changes taped to the front and back covers of several books including AV1, PHB and DMG. Though rather than print off and tape, I do the much less impressive crossing out with pencil and writing it down wherever there is room on that page.

As a result, my PHB is a mess...but an up to date mess.

They should release the PHB books in 3 ring binder format.

Then when they release updates, they could redo the page, and we could print/insert said page.

Ha! That was my thought too. Such an ominous task it required some liquid courage to get it done?

Personally, I am just going to pick up the rules compendium for travel, everything else I can just deal with by looking it up.

Tui, a lagery type beer. very local to me .Those bottles are called stubbies cos they are so small. They come in 24 packs though so no probs there

Yup fully updated as of release, how much will change in the next update after that? Well my guess is ALOT once CharOp start working with Essentials and Standard 4E.

From what I've seen so far, I'm just going to pretend Essentials never existed. So this might just be the perfect book!

Well, CharOp will likely create some interesting errata for the Powers and classes, I have a feeling they are going to be extremely reluctant to update the info in the rules compendium, if they can tweak the powers and classes instead.

Very good point hopefully the rules won't get updated too much (like my conditions page in the PHB!) but it will just be in the class books: feats/powers/magic items etc.
