Borders tells me they won't get it until the 3rd of March. I'll be checking my FLGS on the way home from work.

Joshua,

I would check Barnes and Noble, thats where i got mine, they arrived the 18th. Of course I work there... so I am biased. Would hate for anyone to have to go to Borders (not really) cause "we hates them, we hates them forever!"

Aaron.

Only checking Borders because there is one near where I work and there is no Barnes and Noble close to me. I like B&N better too, frankly. ;)

Rumor is they're putting one up in a vacated K-Mart location in my hometown, though. That'd rock.

Anyway, I picked this up at my FLGS about an hour ago. Thanks for the tips.

I had a chance to peruse the tome at lunch today. Not bad. (Was tickled to see the "paragon" racial levels; it's a good, simple way to tweak a character.)

For all the variants, though, it's a wonder WotC hasn't planned (yet?) a massive "D&D Deconstructed" system that allows bare-bones class progression with lots and lots of special choices at each level.

It looks like that one chapter at least approaches that philosophy, if it doesn't completely do it. Again, based on very quick "flip through" in the parking lot after buying it.
