My Vilest Review yet (long)

The 'nudity' in the book really isn't - not be Oriental, African or European standards.

This book does not create moral dillemas in your party, that's for sure.

Well, I use American standards being, well, an American. But what little there is is no big deal. I've seen worse on NYPD Blue.

Well, ya, the evil is pretty darn pure and PCs should want to destroy it. However, a good DM can make moral dilemma’s out of what's there. The easiest is setting up a lesser and greater evil scenario.

And this doesn't harm the book? I'm very picky (my wife might even say anal) about my books...

Thanks,

It doesn't harm the book at all, provided you apply it with a little care and common sense. Don't dump a whole bunch on it, and make sure the book isn't excessively scraped up. In an extreme case (where you squirt lighter fluid all over a book with a severely scuffed cover), it will lightly discolor an area on the cover. But provided you use enough to completely cover the sticker and its edges, but no more than that, and as long as the book's cover has a glossy finish, you should be fine. I've never had any problems under those conditions.

Also, I haven't seen the sticker, but if it also has a glossy finish (as in, it's covered with tough plastic or something similarly nonabsorbent), you might want to rough it up slightly with a butter knife or razor blade. This will help the lighter fluid penetrate to the goo holding the sticker on the book. After 30-45 seconds, in any case, the goo should be dissolved, and the sticker will peel off fairly cleanly. If anything is left, pat the area dry and repeat.
