This just screams spam.
IMO, and to many Internet verterans, the only reason you ask me for my email address is so you can spam me or sell my name to spammers. Now, I doubt this is your plan. But that it the impression one gets from any website that asks for an email address. Where is your privacy policy? I should be able to read it without signing up.
Hey jmucchiello (and others with similar concerns) I REALLY appreciate all your feedback. You've got some real excellent points here. Especially about the having a clear upfront "privacy" policy. At a minimum you deserve to get that information up front.
As you would guess, we're not intending to spam at all. Merely to make some marketing decisions based on those who express an interest in our product. I don't even know that we'll EVER use those email addresses. I am SURE we will never, ever sell these email addresses or allow anyone else access to them. As PatrickLawinger pointed out, they're probably all spam email accounts anyway.

Thanks again for your excellent feedback. We'll take it all under advisement and make some updates ASAP this week.
For those who've taken a look at the product or the content of our website...what did you think? I'd love to get your feedback on the content of our sneak preview!
Thanks again for your time and consideration!
