Mysterious Wooden Object

My house while genreally neat has an epic spell called create mess cast in one corner of the living room, over near the computer. Well, today I spent two hours casting dispell magic on this area and I discovered a large mysterious wooden object under the mess. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify this object and suggest some uses for it, besides holding the computer.

I'm pretty sure it's wood. I don't think a mimic would let me rest my feat on it for hours.

Its an evil alter tuned into "Create a hellish mess" spell. When caste on, near or even considered in thought only it Maximizes, Enlarges and the worst- Item substitution (left over pizza becomes penasilun (SP)).

My computer hovers amongst a mess of books, papers, blank discs, jewel cases, random pens and pencils and half finished projects. I may have to look into one of these strange wooden things myself.

i seem to have that spell affecting nearly 50% of my house! i sure could use some of your dispel magics, or at least teach my family how to use them.
