Not Dead

Due to health problems of the 2 people who ran it, MEG is as dead as a doornail. Hopefully in the future either they have raise dead cast or some other company buys their lines and continue with them.

MEG is not dead...more like recovering and regrouping.
I am the designer and writer of the Toy Battle System (Giant Monster Rampage) and we have just released Zombie Dawn (Jan.) a horror survival miniatures game at RPGnow. There will be at least two more TBS releases this year through MEG/ Ronin Arts.

Then you and the TBS are the only ones keeping it going right now, Kenny. Have you even spoken to Doug or Hal? There's no discussion in the MEG forum.

I speak to Doug about every other week or so. I will see if I can get him to come here and write a response.

I think Morrus' rant on here drove Hal away. He took it personally.

I'm in the same boat as Napftor, and had more or less given up on these guys. Some of the writers playtested Fall of Man at Gen Con '03, and it was scheduled to be released that winter. So, it seems like they have product in the pipeline, but that it just never made it out. Luckily, I wasn't working on anything at the time. I would be pretty upset if I'd spent the time writing something, and then to never have it go anywhere.

Doug had some pretty severe heart problems, and I think he had to re-enter the workforce, but I could see that he might have gone on disability, too, because it sounded pretty serious.
