Hmm....i almost picked this book up on my last trip to the LGS, when they didn't have Midnight. But i just couldn't pay that much for a book without learning a llittle something about it. After some research, i'm thinking i should have snatched it up! I will next trip, though. :)

:) Makes my day when I hear stuff like this!

There will also be an update to the website on Monday, which will include a new advanced class that can be incorporated into any d20 Modern game (FX or noFX). So, check out the site this coming Monday.

I have a question. For those of us who don't own D20 Modern and aren't all that interested in it, how difficult do you think it would be to run Dark Inheritance without D20 Modern, or say using a different core book (say Sypcraft or some such)? Does DI have any of its own new core classes and mechanics, for instance? I'm really more interested in the setting than mechanics, but it would be nice to know beforehand how much work i'll have ahead of me. :)

The rules in the Dark Inheritance book use those found in the d20 Modern Roleplaying Game by Wizards of the Coast. However, there is lots of information that are specific to the setting and unconnected to the rules. The entire history and Allegiance chapters for instance. As for using a different core book, I wish I could say more at this time but cannot. Be patient. :)

Ok, i'll wait patiently......
