N.Y. Mid-Hudson Valley (Rockland,Dutchess,Ulster,Orange) gamers needed for DND group

Hi,

I'm looking for gamers in the NY mid Hudson valley area interested in playing weekly, twice monthly or monthly. This would be a new group and the schedule still has to be worked out. Currently I have about five people interested but because of schedules not everyone will be able to make it for every session (probably only two or three) so we'll need more people.

We plan on using DND 3e (not revised - since no one owns it).

Hello Ampolitor,

I have 5 people interested in playing whose ages range from 26 to 36 and whose experience with DND vary from novice to experienced.

Two live in Rockland County, Two in NYC, and one other guy and myself reside in Dutchess County. Most have never met one another.

I propose we play on Saturday afternoon/evening. If we can get three players and a DM for a game then we play DND otherwise we cancel or play some wargames or boadgames.

I'm willing to set up multiple groups and dates if that would be most convenient for all. We could play weekly on alternate Fridays (for the local people) and Saturdays (easier for those who are driving longer distances) or just play every Saturday and hope people show up. We can work it out - just let me know your availability.

As for location, I had planned on meeting at my place, unless someone else want to volunteer. I'm moving to more spacious accommodations sometime in September so I'll have plenty of room then, but I still have adequate room now, if you don't mind a couple of cats.

Anyway we're trying to meet on Saturday August 2nd at my place (near Beacon/Newburg bridge). So far three people and myself are confirmed. For August 9th there are tentative plans for another session.

Not a problem! Join the yahoo group so that you can find out when we meet. It's usually Tuesday nights for boardgaming, but it changes from time to time, and the meeting place is always changing.
