n00b rogue question

In the PHB for Rogue powers it lists Deft Strike hit as: 1|W| + Dexterity Mod

What is the 1|W| ? I can't find it referenced anywhere in the guide. HELP!

W = Weapon die!

So, if the weapon uses the d6, 1[W] = 1d6!



I wondered the same when the books first came out that whole day - it comes up much later in the book than it should be :/

For your reference, it shows up on page 276 (though I guess the real first description is on 219 under "Damage:")

I think I found it actually... page 276 Weapon Dice Damage.
