Naerl’s lunar legerdemain, critique please.
Ashamedly this spell is based on something from the merlin film, I'd like some critique on it though. Please.
Naerl’s lunar legerdemain
Illusion [glamer]
Level: Bard 0, Wiz/Sor 0
Components: V
Casting time: Swift action
Effect: Movement of the moon
Range: 30 ft.
Target: One creature
Duration: 1 minute
Saving throw: Will (disbelief)
Spell resistance: No
This minor cantrip creates the image that the caster has pulled the moon from the sky, and for the duration the caster holds the ‘moon’ between their fingers. They can perform any number of slight of hand tricks they wish with the moon. Only one creature can see the image, and they must be within 30 ft for the caster to target them as the viewer of the spell. This has no effect on light levels or any other affect the moon might cause naturally.
The spell also creates a perceived gap where the moon was. Alternatives of this spell exist where the cast grabs a hand full of stars that appear like dust in their hand.
