Names

Hey all.

I've always found the most difficult part of creating a character to be naming him or her.

Some time ago, I had a list of phonetics that you could match up to create names, and it was based on race. The dwarves left column was sounds like "Bru, Gro, Fre," and the right column was "gar, dor, nan", etc. There were lists for all the major races, and they differentiated between male and female.

I can't find this anywhere, and was hoping that someone else might have had something similar available.

You might want to try the Hero Builder's Guidebook. It's for 3.xe, but at the back is a pretty large list of names sorted by race.
