[Nat 20 Press] Elements of Magic questions (about green mage)

First off I would just like to say that I love this book. I like it so much in fact that I would like to incorporate it into my homebrew. The only problem I see right off the bat is with druids. Here are my two questions.

1. As it appears in the book the green mage gets no magical boons. This seems strange since two of the boons look to be made exactly for someone wanting to play as a Druid-like character. These same people would most likely use the Green Mage subclass. So players are stuck with either playing a Green Mage with no trackless step etc., or playing a normal EoM Mage. Am I missing something obvious? Do the subclasses get the same specials as the mage unless they are listed otherwise (as is the case for the White and Black Mage)?

2. If I were to make Venom Immunity and Nature Sense (from the core rules Druid) into magical boons, what type of boons should they be? Major and Minor respectively?

Thanks for any help.

I noticed that as well. I think the magical boons are a huge positive.

I would reccommend giving the green mages the two boons at 1st level with limited choices.

I would think Venom immunity would be a medium boon. I don't think it is more powerful than the wild shape ability.

Nature sense is a minor one.

Good Call. Thanks.

I guess I am wondering if they [nat 20] missed something in the book. Maybe they can add some explanation before it gets into print format.

Yeah. THe subclasses weren't as powerful as the mage core class. At least that is what I thought.

I thought the boons were the coolest think ever though. Maybe not the coolest but top five all time. All of the classes should get them in some way.
