Yeah, I'll be recording both Dragons and a pair of shows on Discovery about Genghis Kahn and Kubla Khan and the Mongol hordes. They both debut at 8PM, but both will be repeated several times tonight.

The Hogzilla show looks interesting too, but I don't get the NG channel on my local cable, so I guess I'll have to miss it.

I watched Hogzilla and it was pretty good. A bit too much "watch out because giant, man eating pigs may kill your family" schtick, though. Not that wild pigs can't kill a man (considering even small ones are the size of big dogs), but they overdid it.

The claims were that Hogzilla was supposedly 12 ft long and 1,000 lbs. From the picture, it was clear that it wasn't 12 ft long. They dug it up, measured it, and did a DNA test on it. It turns out
it was about 8 ft long and, I think, 800 lbs. That's still pretty huge. While there have been bigger domestic hogs, I think they said this is the biggest wild one recorded. It also had the biggest tusks any of the scientists had seen. The DNA tests revealed it was a hybrid of wild and domestic pigs.

So is solved the mystery of Hogzilla.

Yeah. Looking at the pic it was pretty obvious that the Hog wasn't anywhere near 12 ft. But still, pretty gigantic.
