Do any of you remember how Fiery Dragon used to post all kinds of crazy hype, boasting about how amazing their products were? We all knew they were just being funny, and that they didn't really think they were better than us. Even though I have heard that James Bell does bear a remarkable resemblance to a particular Amsterdam duck.

Thanks for reminding my, RW ... totally forgot.

FDP is raising the price on all existing print products. We will be travelling store-to-store during the months of March and April 2003 to apply new price stickers to existing stock found in these stores. The increase is only a modest $1.00, so there shouldn't be any problems.

In May and June, we will be continuing our re-pricing strategy, and going door-to-door to collect the extra dollar from those who had already purchased products at the original price. So as to avoid confusion, we will be applying the new price stickers to purchased material at this point, clearly identifying them as correctly priced product.

At this point, we do not anticipate increasing the price of previously released product further, but we do have time in our 2004 schedule just in case.

Wow, if that were legal, do you realize what a difference that would make? Companies would never have to release new product, they just come by periodically to collect on their price increases! Customers would never have to buy anything again because they would be too busy paying off price increases as they are collected upon - even on products that they have since thrown away or no longer own.

This is better than the Lucasfilm model of making us buy a new edition of certain movies every 2 or 3 years.
