As for running a game, You're always welcome to, for sure! But to be clear for all, I'm not trying to start any recruitment or sign-ups right now - we'll leave that to the guys in charge who actually live in North Carolina.

This has been more of a "toss out ideas" thread than anything. I'm just having fun with Belen Umeria over some previous Eberron chatter.

Right now, your guess is as good as mine when the planning will begin in earnest, but the fact is, we're set for September 25th - mark it on your calendars, because Good Lord, will we have some fun. Sadly, I won't be able to come down for the pre-dinner, and I may not be able to stay long for the after-dinner, because I will be (A) saving money, and (B) travelling with a couple of friends who are only day-tripping the visit. But I will definitely be there.

Now, if we can only get Shem to run a 3e planescape campaign using some of the items from the mew Planar Handbook (and maybe Monte's will be out too).

You know, a Dark Sun retro game could be a lot of fun. I have not run Freedom in a long time or something newer could also work.

They kicked its butt. I was *this* short of pulling my hair out ... but it's over with, everybody's happy, and someone new's picked up the GMing gauntlet to give it a try, so that should be good. I'm just no good at running PC spellcasters. I only managed to kill one of them

Here be me tentatively offering an Eberron game, too. Not too much available now, but let's just say it'll involve another Campaign Setting book by a Mr. Cook and Mr. Reynolds.

No, no, no! It's too early to start this thread! Didn't you people get the memo?

I'm just kidding of course (or at least I think I am - I'm on my second Yuengling in 20 minutes thanks to the work day I had). But I had decided to wait to start the "official" (not that my version is really more official than this) NCGDV thread until after Trinocon next weekend.

I'm off to find out if my Trinocon thread went anywhere. Are you automatically subscribed to threads that you start?

And, for what it's worth (less than two Yuenglings, I can tell you that much), I'll probably be running another Sky Galleons game at V.

*muses on the Shem game idea* That might be dangerous - both of the last games affected his/her regular campaign...

On the other hand at this rate - there's going to be *so* many games I want to play in in addition to running SR!! (Too bad we can't do this 2 days in a row...)
