For the last year or so, I've been working on a book called Ancient Kingdoms: Mesopotamia, coming soon from Necromancer Games. It's a huge sourcebook with numerous new classes, deities, monsters and magic items, including a series of short adventures. There are plenty of references to historical Mesopotamia, but the mini-campaign has enough supernatural/fantastic elements to make it suitable for both a quasi-historical setting, as well as fantasy (with a strong swords & sorcery flavor in the style of Robert E. Howard and Clark Ashton Smith -- at least that is the atmosphere I was trying to invoke when I wrote the book).
With minor modifications, the adventure (or parts of it) can be inserted in a Hyborian campaign, preferably in eastern Shem or somewhere in the Kharamun desert. Explore the ancient ruins, temples and ziggurats of the lost city of Ibnath, and the perilous wilderness areas that surround it. The Ziggurat of the Ghoul-Queen awaits!
