But they don't have the "H" designation?

H=Hawvermale
Lance's Last name, just as he was one of the first among the ranks of Necromancer Minions to get his own module, so he is among the first to get his own area code.

Peace

M series (purple): this stands for "Maze" after Maze of Zayene. All were written by Rob Kuntz and originally released through his small press outfit in 1987 or thereabouts. This was initially conceived as a four-parter, but a fallout between Rob and Necromancer occured, leadind to its cancellation after part 3. They are all "high level" (in 1e terms - this means 8th to 12th) and draw mixed reaction, especially from the more 3e-y crowd. I'd recommend that you check out parts one and two - these are pretty good after a few alterations.

Melan,

I have to disagree with you. I am old school D&D. I cut my teeth on the white box set (but I am a fan of 3e). But the M series were really bad. I believe they are some of the worst explains of what was wrong with earlier versions of D&D.

I still think we should do a series of modules with the letter code you and I discussed Case.

The online store that claimed to have Tomb of Abysthor did not actually have it nor did any of other stores I've been to. Anyone of any ideas where I might find it beside eBay? Are there any re-release plans?

No one probably cares but I'll say it anyway. I have in my possession The Wizard's Amulet, Tome of Horrors and Crucible of Freya. Based on those, on their way are
  • Tome of Horrors II
  • Grey Citadel
  • Vault of Larin Karr
  • Player's Guide to the Wilderlands
I plan on picking up pretty much all the rest of Necromancer's products piece by piece, especially eager for mega Rappan Athuk.

Just wanted to thank all the guys at Necromancer for putting out such excellent products.

I will now end my fanboy rant.

Thanks.

Tom

Try stiggybaby dot com. Last I checked they were only out of RA 3. Get Barakus!! They accept PayPal too.
Thanks, but I found and ordered copy from abebooks before I saw this reply. I'll keep that link in mind.

Barakus will have to wait for a month at least as I blew my gaming and regular book cash on the other Necromancer stuff I just ordered.

I think you will be very pleased with those - especially Grey Citadel and Vault of Larin Karr. Those two are some of Necro's best. (There's also some nice web support for Grey Citadel.)
