[Necromancer] Necro still in for 4E!

Okay, this may be a dumb question, but what is the lifespan of this product? Isn't Wizards going to produce their own writeup of druids, bards, and the like within the next year or two?

All too true.

I bet most publishers will be using different names than standard Druid, Monk, etc.

It'll be Verdant Druid, Feral Druid, Eastern Monk, etc.

Huh. I think I just got an inkling as to why WotC has been naming powers and feats certain ways...

Ari has previously said he's going in a different direction with these classes from where he believes WotC is going, so that there will be, in theory, room for both versions of the druid. The WotC one will be very shapeshifty, while Ari's will apparently be more of a spellcaster.

So no, not a dumb question, but also not a product with a limited lifespan.

Awe. Some.

If my campaign converts to 4E, it'll be in large part because Necromancer is able to help us bridge the flavor/heritage gap.

Will the Folio of Fiends have 1E-flavored monsters, if not the actual 1E critters themselves? (I have a strange hankering for evil squirrels in my campaign.)

This would definitely help with conversions since I have at least one campaign that uses a huge helping of unconverted classes in the 4E core right now.

While it too bad you weren't able to recreate this book for 4e fans, I have to say that I'm really happy that Tome of Horrors is going to be revised for Pathfinder.

Any idea when us Pathfinder fans can expect to see this book? Is it coming out with the Beta release of Pathfinder or are you waiting until next when the finial version of the RPG comes out?

Plus, do you have plans to convert anything else from your OGL library of products to Pathfinder?

Cheers!
