Pathfinder 1E Necromancer-Paizo Product Wishlist

I agree that new stuff is good, but ToH1 being out of print is nuts. I get that there's a PDF version, but that's a whole lot more PDF than most people want. And I get that ToH1 was originally printed too cheaply, but that can be a gift to the old 3.0 purchasers.

I don't care about full color -- although it would be nice, and Paizo's got good relationships with some great artists I bet would love to be unleashed on the book -- I just want it in print.

If someone redoes Tomb of Horrors can the individual please add stats on living statues and other rarities from the Mentzer and Cook versions of the original DnD?

Personally, I'm not interested in reprints of the existing stuff -- I have most of it. (Although a reprint of ToA or Rappan Athuk that included OAD&D, OSRIC, or C&C stats would tempt me -- I don't NEED it, but I'd probably buy it...)

I'm not interested in full color, either. That's okay, I guess, but not a big draw, for me. Don't care about "1-20 Adventure Paths," either. If I want that, I can get it elsewhere.

What *I* want are new "Bill & Clark" adventures like ToA, Demons & Devils, and Rappan Athuk. To me, those are the products that scream "Necromancer Games." I'm also interested in more Judges Guild stuff (e.g. Tegel Manor), and in City of Brass (although I wish the original deal with Kuntz hadn't fallen through).

Lastly, if the new stuff were dual-stat 3E and something else (OSRIC, OAD&D, or C&C), that would rock my world. I know it's not too likely, but I can dream, right?

4. The Necromancer Ap. There was talk about an Iron Tower Adventure Path. I'd like to see this done up in individual books and compiled at the end as opposed to say running in Dragon Magazine.
I'd certainly like this (though I'd like to know beforehand if it would be compiled or not - I'd never buy the individual books if it were to be compiled).

I'd don't care for the rest of Joe's list, though. I'd just like more large/mega-adventures and related "premium" type adventures. All my short adventure needs are handled by Dungeon mag (more than I'd ever need). (d20 only)

Obviously Goodman Games is pursuing redoing products with different stats, and it seems to be profitable enough for them to keep doing it. I'd think that other companies might want to dip their toe in the water eventually. Barring that, even just an official PDF conversion on their sites seems like a no-brainer, to me at least.

Yup. And in a broader sense, Necro has a real chance to raise the bar for themselves if they can build on their past and blend that with the high standards (some of the highest in the industry) of Paizo. This could move them closer to the top of the second tier (given WotC is in the top tier all by themselves).

All I want is an official release date, price schedule, and pre-order form for City of Brass. Two of my players have already thought of characters for it, and I haven't even seen the books yet.

I'm thinking I may have to use Expedition to the Demonweb Pits as a "prequel" adventure - it says 9-12, and the City of Brass is supposed to be for about 12th level and up, yes?

Three! Three of your players! Ah ah ah!

Honestly?

I'm glad you guys are not persuading me to invest my money in your plans - because I would say "no and HELL no".

In fact, how's a big fat NO to almost all of the suggestions in this thread.

If Necro's tittles that are being suggested here had sold well enough - this new partnership would not be necessary.

Well guess what? They did not.

Necro does not need 3.5 updates of already released product. Necro needs to expand its relationship with Judge's Guild and play the Nostalgia card for all its worth. If you have not noticed, that is what Paizo has been doing all along:

Great writing, great art, nostalgia tie-ins = success

Tegal Manor is on the list for this summer. And a damn fine thing that is, too. What they need is more Judge's Guild. They don't need bloody Rappan Athuk 3.5 ad nauseum = they need City State of the World Emperor. There is a vast back catalog of Judge's Guild material that with quality support can find a pre-sold audience.

The vast majority of what I am hearing suggested here holds absolutely no interest for me at all. Moreover, I put it to you that demonstrably, there is not enough of an audience for these things listed above to bother.
