Necromancer--TONS OF FREE STUFF FOR YOU!

Orcus

First Post
Hi everyone. The ENnies are coming up. We at Necromancer Games wanted everyone to know just how much free stuff we give away to our fans. Since most of the stuff is password protected we figured there may be a few people who actually hadnt seen this stuff. So we thought, what the heck, let's let everyone look at it. Here is a list of just a sampling of the free stuff that we give to our fans. I have included the links and the passwords. That's right, you can check them out even if you dont own the book!!! Plus, I've included a few classic downloads (even though they are too old to be considered for a current ENNie) so that you can evaluate all the stuff we provide for people who buy our product--YOU!

All for free. All from your pals at Necro.

[Note: some of these downloads are big, so give them a minute or two. Dont freak out.]

To start off, here is a preview for those 2 or 3 people who have not yet seen our mega-monster book, Tome of Horrors:

Some of you might have noticed the Open Game License stuff in the back. That's right THE WHOLE BOOK IS OPEN GAME CONTENT AND WE GIVE YOU INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO RE-USE IT, STEP BY STEP. This is probably the single largest and most usable collection of Open Game Content you can find.

Here are some of the product support freebies you get when you buy Necromancer products. Come check them out!!!

Hey Clark, there's one little treasure you forgot to mention:

"Brief History of Orcus"
Fan-produced annotated history of the mascot of Necromancer Games
Link: http://www.necromancergames.com/pdf/HistoryOfOrcus.pdf
Password: none
This, also, is free.

I've got a revision for this planned, and I'll probably be able to email it to you shortly after GenCon if everything goes as planned.

True. That was a fan submission, not an "official" Necro thingy. The list I sent is just a sample of things. It is by no means exhaustive.

And here I would have thought that "Dead of Winter", the adventure from the CD that came with the PHB, would have been both available before TWA and having been played more.

That said, that's an awfully nice list of free stuff.

"Dead of Winter" was not produced under the d20 license. WA was available 12:00.01 am, the first day we were allowed by (then) Ryan Dancey to publish d20 stuff. I waited till midnight then activated the link.

pimp, pimp, pimp! pimp, pimp, pimp! pimp our products! pimp our products!

He he. I am having fun with this.

I just want to say that I think Necromancer Games is a class act, and that Clark is truly a gentleman and a scholar.

I hope you folks are still going strong when d20/3.5e is "old school".

:)

Boy, thanks. That is a cool comment. Bill and I got real drunk one night at GenCon (big surprise) and were saying how funny it would be if some company in 2020 contacted us to license our products for use with the 8th edition rules. You know what their motto would be, "8th Edition Rules, 3rd Edition Feel...Bringing back the classic d20 modules for 8th Edition Revised!" OK, maybe its wishful thinking, but funny none the less... :)

Who knows, maybe Necro will still be going strong. Bill and I could have our daughters running it by then...(Jillian and Emily)
